EcoCommute allows Global Affairs Canada (GAC) employees in the National Capital Region (NCR) to travel efficiently and sustainably to and from the office by

proposing different transportation options for their commute (for example, carpooling, walking, ice skating, taking public transit, riding a bike or electric scooter, and much more)
matching users with one another based on their commuting style and preferences (for example, office hours, area of the city they live in, etc.)

In addition to improving the employee commuting experience, ecoCommute supports GAC’s commitment to the Greening Government Strategy by tracking the amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions avoided during each trip
